Chappaquiddick is a small rural island that is accessible from Edgartown by a short ferry ride. It appears to be a community frozen in a simpler time, and conservation policies keep its beaches, farms, and forests pristine.

"Chappy," as it is called by the locals, has a colorful cabana-style beach club with tents for its members, and is located at the mouth of the harbor.
